Ethical Policy
We pride ourselves on our ethical approach to creating beautiful Welsh gold jewellery. Find out more here.
We are open and honest about how much pure Welsh gold is in your piece of jewellery. If you decide to shop elsewhere, we strongly advise you to find out from the manufacturer exactly what the pure Welsh gold content is. If something is labelled as being made from ‘Brand Name Welsh Gold’ it is often an alloy, so do seek clarification of the true content before purchasing.
Aur Cymru Limited is founded entirely on ethical principles.
All gemstones included in our jewellery are ethically mined, cut and sourced in accordance with the ethical accreditation for each particular stone. We are also delighted to offer lab-grown diamonds which are sustainable as well as avoiding mining practices.
Our suppliers are paid strictly in accordance with their trading terms.
Company taxes are paid in full and on time, and we do not operate tax avoidance schemes.
In the unusual event of a complaint, we will do our utmost to resolve the matter quickly and fairly.
After having discovered how illusive and how rare Welsh gold is, and just how miniscule the amounts of it were in other highstreet jewellery items I have bought in the past, I went on a mission to find a reputable company who were upfront about their Welsh gold content in their jewellery and who were also very eco/ethically minded. I found the Welsh Gold Company online and were instantly impressed by their website and ethos … You get what you pay for and I received excellence at every step of the way. I am so thrilled with my pendant. Thank you Welsh Gold.J. 🌻
